Ten Ideas to Keep Christ in Christmas
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! Beautiful decorations, glistening lights, Christmas music, parties, presents, and Santa Claus help to make the season merry and bright. While these festivities are enjoyable, we must remember to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the true reason for the season and the most wonderful part. Without Him, we would have no Christmas or hope of eternal salvation (John 14:6). The word Christmas, meaning “Christ’s Mass,” is named after Him. He should be our primary focus during Christmas. Like the angels and shepherds, let us glorify and praise God for the birth of our Savior (Luke 2:13-14,20).
It’s common for Christ to be overshadowed by secular Christmas characters and traditions on His birthday. Enjoying all aspects of Christmas while incorporating fun ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ is possible. Children need to know and understand the true meaning of Christmas. Traditions made now can be passed down for generations.

Faith Boosters to Overcome Fear
Is fear overpowering your faith? Do you feel crippled by anxiety?
It’s nearly impossible to get through a day without experiencing fear in today’s world. Data breaches, deadly viruses, disastrous storms, food and medicine recalls, unsolved murders, political battles, and wars are just a few of our terrifying daily headlines. It’s enough to put someone in a fetal position without adding personal struggles and worries, especially for those raising children in today’s world.
Fear robs us of our faith. The Bible stresses the importance of believing and having faith in God to answer prayers (Matthew 17:20). Hundreds of Scriptures instruct us to have faith, believe, trust in the Lord, and fear not. One verse commonly quoted is Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV).
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
To help overcome your fears, incorporate these ten faith boosters into your daily routine.

Ten Tips to Share Jesus on Halloween
Halloween is a fun holiday for children and adults to dress in costumes, carve pumpkins, trick-or-treat for candy, and attend parties. Many Christians and nonbelievers participate in these activities for enjoyment without any intention of celebrating evil. Unfortunately, some use the holiday to honor death, horror, and the dark supernatural. Occult activity, crime, and vandalism are higher on Halloween night.
Because of the evil associated with Halloween, some Christians boycott the holiday. While it’s important not to honor evil, boycotting it is a missed opportunity to share Jesus with others. How often do nonbelievers knock on your door with an open invitation to give them something? Embrace Halloween as a unique chance to further the Kingdom of God.

Ten Prayer Boosters to Improve Prayer Effectiveness
How often do you intend to pray, but life gets busy and talking to God gets put on the backburner? I’ve been guilty of falling asleep while praying, especially during my years as a working mother. Can you relate? Christians often pray before bed, meals, and when needed. While these prayers are good, how many take the time for serious, specific, and strategic prayer?
God has blessed believers with a direct line of communication with Him through prayer. Communicating with Him is how we have a relationship. None of us want to hear “Depart from Me, I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23 NKJV) when we meet our Lord and Savior.
